Use Cable Product Codes in Reports

Product codes can now be associated with cables and used in cable schedules and reports. Product codes can be added to the existing cable types definitions either manually or by importing a cable list with the added product codes.
  1. (Manual Option) - Manually enter individual values in the Options > Cable Data grid:
  2. (Import Option) - If cable list is more substantial, it is recommended that product codes be imported from the Excel spreadsheet. The existing cable types spreadsheet can be updated by adding additional column that contains product codes and XML file should be amended to include product code (example is shown below)
  3. Once cable type list and XML import files are modified to include cable product code use the Load option to import the updated cable list
    The Review Differences dialog will show the product code values:
  4. Once cable product codes are imported, the same will be included in cable schedules.
